Teach Your Hypnotherapy Clients to Allow Feelings & Emotions

Preliminary Techniques

Healing is about restoring a person’s ability to feel good – physically, mentally and emotionally.

To achieve this goal in your hypnotherapy sessions you need your client to be an active participant in their own healing process.

They need to be willing to feel their feelings because you can’t do it for them!

This is why you need to educate your clients.  They need to understand that they have these two parts of the Mind that communicate very differently.

There’s a part of them that thinks.  Then, there’s that deeper part of them that feels.  What’s going to get them healed is allowing that feeling part of them to express and communicate.

The client also needs to understand that they have the power to block the healing from happening by allowing the thinking part of them to take over or by putting a lid on their feelings.

We want feelings and emotions to be a part of the process. That’s where the healing lies.  So, your clients need to understand that relying on the conscious, thinking mind is using the wrong part of the mind.

It’s trying to use 5% of their mental potential to move 95% of the problem.  That’s not going to work!
