Traumatic memory has to do with an undigested event from the past that was overwhelming for the person. The problem is that it hasn’t been processed and brought to completion.
As far as the Subconscious Mind is concerned, it’s still a current event.
That event needs to be brought to consciousness to be resolved. Until this happens, unconsciously the person is still stuck in the event. And whatever was left unresolved in that event will continue to haunt them in their present life – as symptoms.
To get rid of the symptom you need to resolve what's generating it. If you don't, it will just keep coming back.
It's like a weed.
If you've got a weed in your lawn, and you spray it with some weed killer, what's going to happen? It will work for a while, right?
That's what happens when you try to get rid of a long-term problem with a temporary solution.
As a hypnosis practitioner, you can do better than offer temporary results. You can dig down, pull out the roots, and get rid of the problem for good.
That's what regression to cause hypnotherapy is all about. It's about getting down to the underlying cause of the problem and pulling out the roots.

An amazing course that actually simplified the whole process to understand what we need to look for while working with the client. I have taken a few other courses of Tribe of Healers, and I’m sure it’s all going to help me help others in a much more profound way. I like the fact that everything was summarized in a systematic way. Tribe of Healers is highly recommended for budding hypnotherapist to sharpen their skills - thank you very much.
