Let the Body Shake Hypnotherapy Technique

Emotional Release Work

If your client’s body start quaking or shaking during a hypnotherapy session – let it!  Encourage the client to let the body do what it's doing.

The body knows how to heal.

When it starts quaking and shaking, know that it's doing exactly what it was designed to do.  It's releasing the trapped energies from the nervous system of the body.  That's good!

Sometimes, trapped energies will reach "ignition."

When this happens, it's like the kindling ignites into a fire.  This process is burning off all the bio-chemical stress of an unresolved past event.  So, encourage it because when it's finished the client will feel dramatically better.

Make it safe for the client to accept whatever is happening.

Encourage them to just let the energy be discharged because it's releasing the energy of a traumatic experience.  When it's done, it's done, and the client will notice a profound shift has occurred inside.

This natural process is called "myoclonic shaking."
