When you’re first starting out you’re still learning how to facilitate the healing process so you rely heavily on scripts and protocols. As you become more confident in sessions, you don’t need these things as much. Until then, you need a way to organize and still look professional to your clients.
I found that having a session manual helped me to feel more confident facilitating the various processes of regression hypnosis. It helped me to stay on task and stay consistent in my approach with clients.
Being consistent will help you to learn how the processes work. And it will get you more consistent results working with real clients - even while you’re still learning.
