How to Create the Best Hypnosis Script Ever

Preliminary Techniques

Do you ever wonder why some hypnosis scripts are so much better than others?  Why does one hypnosis script have amazing powers of persuasion with one client?  But then fall flat with another client? Does this mean you need 50,000 scripts to get the job done?  And how do you know which one to choose?

You do not need 50,000 jobs to get results with your clients.  What you need is a script that works.  Every time.  For every client.

Want to know how to create the best hypnosis script for every client that works every time?

Get it from your client. The best hypnosis script EVER will come from your client.  So you don’t ever need a script.

The BEST hypnosis script won’t be found in any book or online.  Hypnosis scripts can be really useful, especially when you’re still learning.  But the problem is that they tend to be too generic.

They weren’t created specifically for your client.  So, they don’t speak directly to the client’s issue.  And most of the time, you won’t sound authentic when you read them because you don’t normally talk like that!

Studying other people’s scripts will teach you how to turn a phrase.  And they can help you to develop your own style.  But the place to get the BEST hypnosis script for the client – is from the CLIENT!

3 Keys to Creating Powerful Scripts That Speak To Your Client.

The following three keys will help you create the perfect script for each client every time.

  1. Listen
  2. Use the client's words
  3. Use the Power of Compounding.

1. Listen.

Your most valuable asset in session is always going to be your ability to listen.   The client will tell you exactly what it is they need to hear. Knowing how to formulate questions will help you to uncover the answers you’re looking for.

As you find solutions to problems, and insights into the cause of the client’s problem, you’ll have everything you need.  You can create the most powerful script for each client.

If you keep good notes in your sessions, you’ll have everything you need.  So, listen!

2. Use the client’s words.

These are the words that have real power in the Mind of the client.  So, if the client says “wonderful” that’s their word. Don’t assume that “terrific” or “fabulous” holds the same meaning for them.  Say “wonderful” and they’ll feel that it’s true.

Something you can do during the intake process is to create a list of benefits of change.  Ask the client to give you seven specific benefits for having made this change.  What does life look like as a result of having achieved their goal?  What can they can look forward to enjoying as a result of having done this work with you? What do they want as a result?

Get at least seven benefits.  More is better.  Then, have your client close their eyes and just listen as you read the list back to them.  What’s their most important benefit?  Which one has the most “juice”?

Some clients will start telling you all the things they don’t want.  Don’t let them get away with that.  If they’re saying, “I won’t have to put up with this …” or “I won’t have to deal with that . . .”  stop them, right there.  This is their habitual way of looking at things. Tell them, “You’re telling me what you DON’T want!  Tell me what you DO want!” Get them focusing on what they really want because what you’re asking them to do is share with you their vision of the future they want.

I don’t remember who wrote this but it’s a great suggestion.  “Your vision for yourself . . . if the promise to yourself . . . of the future you are living into.”  That vision is what you want to deliver back to the client just before you emerge them.  That’s what you want to send them home with.  Their vision of what they want is what you’re helping them to create.  Remind them of this right before you emerge them.

3. Use the Power of Compounding.

The Law of Compounding states that the more a suggestion is repeatedly accepted, the more powerful it becomes.  This is true whether it’s in one session or over a number of sessions.  So, gather up those suggestions so that you can use them over and over, again, in each session.

This is why hypnosis recordings tend to work better over a period of time.  Repetition compounds the suggestions.  So, they become more powerful each time you listen to them.

So, that’s it. The place to get the best hypnosis script EVER is from your client.  They bring it with them.  And to get it, all you have to do is listen. Just pay attention to what they’re saying about what they want.  The client will provide all the suggestions you’ll ever need.

Once you have created some space for it, you can give it all back to the client.  This is what they WANT.  It’s all the benefits of change.  So, give it back to them in their own words.  Then, hammer home all those changes powerfully. You may think that you sound like a stuck record.  But to the client, what you’re telling them is music to their ears.  So, compound all the suggestions!  That’s how you’ll get the changes that you’re after!
