When a person is dealing with a physical condition, they often come to you with a diagnosis. When the client has a diagnosis, the condition has a label.
You can't treat a label.
Being able to label the problem can give a client some measure of relief. At least, now they know what they’re dealing with.
But the label also makes the problem more real. Now it has a name. It has an identity. Now, its separate from the client.
This can leave the client feeling powerless to change it. They may feel like a victim to the disease. They feel powerless to something that is outside their control. This perception separates them from their body.
The body is the Subconscious Mind.
Psychologically, the client is feeling cut off from an important Part of themselves. That Part of them has the answer and knows how to heal. Interestingly, this is the surgical solution.
The problem is that the body already knows how to heal. But when disease is the enemy, the solution is to cut it out. Eradicate it.
That’s the basis of war. So, the body becomes a battlefield.
When you go to war with dis-ease, the body becomes the battlefield.
Until the problem is resolved, the client is sleeping with the enemy. This generates fear. What the client needs to know is that dis-ease is not the body running amok.
The body doesn't think. So, the body cannot make decisions. It just does what it’s told. Only the Mind can make decisions.
When there’s a problem at a physical level, there’s always a reason. We may not know what that reason is because it’s coming out of the Subconscious level of Mind.
The Conscious Mind doesn't have access to that information.
All we can know is that every disease is the result of a life experience. The regression work will reveal the contributing factors. But the problem is always rooted in some kind of unresolved stress from the past.
Dr. Alex Lloyd, author of The Healing Codes, states that stress is THE underlying cause of every problem. I highly recommend his book because most of the issues that clients will come to you for help with are caused by or exacerbated by stress.
You’ll also find lots of information you can use for educating clients about the effects of everyday stress. You can use this information to create presentations for educating the public about what you do.
